Ο Δημήτρης Μπούχαλης στο Χ&Τ: Το Φεστιβάλ Ελληνικής Γαστρονομίας στο Χονγκ Κονγκ και η εφετιλή σεζόν. Mε πρωτοβουλία του Δημήτρη Μπούχαλη η Σχολή ξενοδοχειακής και τουριστικής διοίκησης του πολυτεχνικού πανεπιστημίου του Χονγκ Κονγκ , στο οποίο διδάσκει για ένα χρόνο, αποφάσισε να διοργανώσει ένα φεστιβάλ γαστρονομίας, φέρνοντας την Ελλάδα πιο κοντά στην Κίνα. Το “Greek Gastronomy and Diet Festival: From Ancient Times to modern Mediterranean wellbeing philosophy” (Φεστιβάλ Ελληνικής Γαστρονομίας και Διατροφής: Από την Αρχαιότητα μέχρι τη Σύγχρονη Μεσογειακή Φιλοσοφία Ευημερίας) στο Χονγκ Κονγκ είναι μια ευκαιρία για όλους να εξερευνήσουν την ελληνική γαστρονομία, να δημιουργήσουν ένα οικοσύστημα με λάτρεις του ελληνικού φαγητού, τόσο στο Χονγκ Κονγκ, όσο και την ηπειρωτική Κίνα, και να ενθαρρύνουν τους ανθρώπους να ταξιδέψουν και να βιώσουν την πραγματική Ελλάδα όταν το επιτρέψουν οι συνθήκες. Η κορυφαία εκδήλωση θα πραγματοποιηθεί στις 15 Φεβρουαρίου 2022, αλλά θα συνεχισθεί για αρκετούς μήνες με διάφορες εκδηλώσεις. Μεταξύ αυτών περιλαμβάνονται τέσσερα workshops όπου παρουσιάζονται γαλακτοκομικά προϊόντα ελαιόλαδο κρασιά και μπύρα, δύο εβδομάδες δημιουργίας και σερβιρίσματος ελληνικών εδεσμάτων, δυο επίσημα δείπνα καθώς και η “μύηση” των φοιτητών στα μυστικά της ελληνικής κουζίνας.
